Usually the timetable has been constructed by a senior member of staff who has considerable demands on their time – or as in this case, who left the school before the start of term. The focus at St Joan of Arc was to resolve some outstanding issues with the timetable structure and to show admin staff the best way to switch teachers, rooms and classes around. Dealing with shared teaching groups is always tricky, so we set up some customised planning matrices designed to make the process as simple and painless as possible.  |
