Documentation

Good documentation is essential if staff are to feel comfortable in their roles and engage in new projects. It enables you to be sure that data is being collected accurately and consistently long after an initial training session, allowing you to analyse it with confidence.
I can help you produce documentation to suit a range of circumstances, and for both IT and paper-based systems:
  • User guides - simple step by step instructions for staff undertaking particular tasks, supported by screen images and clear presentation
  • Technical documentation - detailed and thorough notes that provide a reference for how systems work
  • Workflow diagrams - clarifying roles and responsibilities and explaining what should be done in differing situations
Example of some documentation

The above example is an extract from some documentation produced to help staff co-ordinating exam analysis across different schools in a consortium.
